great cart! April 22, 2008 John P. 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This comes with the propane tank adapter hose. Assembly was straight forward. Only part that didnt go smooth was screwing the tank bracket into the cart. The screws stopped prematurely and the bracket was wobbly and needed to be tightened down some more. I backed the screws out, got a gunsmithing screwdriver that'll drive the screws with more force without stripping the screw slots and finally got the bracket on pretty snug. I can get 2 legs on one of the Weber 200 in easy then have to slightly spread the top of the cart on the other end to get the rest of the Q in.
The Weber just sits on the cart, it's not bolted on or anything.
The plate that the 20lb tank sits on will scuff up the first time you put a tank on it and rotate it into position, no big deal.
Excellent cart for a great little grill August 11, 2008 Timothy B. Riley (San Antonio, TX USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I really like the Weber Q series of grills and now that I am on my second one, a Q200 (my Q100 was stolen) I decided to get a cart for my new, larger grill. Weber makes two carts for it, the 6507 Rolling Cart and this item, the 6508 Stationary Cart. The reason one is called "stationary" and the other "rolling" is because the 6507 folds up and includes a strap so that one can use it as a caddy for transport. Since it folds you can put it in the trunk of your car. If the folding feature is not important to you, they both function the same as far as moving them around when the 6507 is fully upright. The 6508 Stationary Cart includes a hose adapter for the 20 lb. LP tank and the other does not. It also seems better built and includes a screen that blocks the tank from view.
The cart was fairly easy to assemble, even though I hate to put things together. It took me about 30 minutes and I only used one or two bad words. I would have spent more money for a cart that had more metal and less plastic, but it is what it is. It still seems well built and sturdy enough.
When you fold out the shelves on the 200 or 220 this portable BBQ pit transforms into a really nice, small, full features gas grill. I find it easy to move around I think that this is a good compromise for someone who wants both a portable grill and standard-type one.

Great Cart August 9, 2008 N. Vanderah (Chicago Area) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this cart to go with my Weber Q200 grill. Living in a condo - the patio is not that large - and this grill and cart take up little space - and look very nice. The cart also comes with a hose to connect the propane tank to the grill - so it is not necessary to buy this part for an additional $25. It was easy to put together and I can slide it back in the corner when not using it. I also purchased the Weber Q grill cover. It fits nicely and is made of high quality material, so am pleased with that as well. Though they say this grill is portable - it is much to heavy for me to carry and it will stay on the patio.
Cart is Great!! September 14, 2008 Peter P. Terry (New England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The cart is a GREAT option for this grill!! Since I intend to use it mostly for "at home" cooking it is perfect for my needs!!
Great stability for a small weber grill September 9, 2009 K. Butcher (Hampton Roads, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had this grill stand now for the entire summer. I have left it outside and it has stood up well against the weather and it provided EXCELLENT stability for my Q220 Weber grill. The stand is also very light weight in and of itself, so it is portable if you would be moving it around a lot. It probably isn't ideal for tailgaters, but if you wouldn't mind some dis-assembly and re-assembly it wouldn't be bad for tailgaters. Overall, I use it a lot, its the perfect height for grilling and it is a very stable grilling surface.
